David Leitner

His works move between digital and analogue, canvas and house wall and are inspired by the multifaceted and cultural diversity of our world, of course also by social ills and problems. He dedicated his own exhibition “100% Trash” to the subject of consumption-lunacy and littering the world. By repeating, shifting, or removing the reference material, surreal and illogical constructs are often created to invite the viewer to find their own interpretation of the seen.

Leitner paints with fine and powerful brushes, energetic yet always discreetly, with black and white contrasts that clearly emphasize forms and figures. His work can be found in Europe, Asia and America, both on house walls and in galleries. Leitner is a visual artist from Graz. He lives in Vienna.
